We’re always looking for ways to improve your training experience, and this change is the latest step. This fall, we moved to Thinkific, an entirely new learning management system. It’s built to make training more engaging and easier to navigate, so it feels smoother from the moment you log in. It’s also more intuitive, with a cleaner layout that helps you stay on track without extra effort.
The overall experience feels more consistent from lesson to lesson, and the platform itself has a more modern feel than what you may be used to. Small changes like these add up to training that’s simply easier to get through.

Video and course materials are built to play smoothly wherever you are. Lessons stream through a responsive player designed to reduce buffering, whether you’re on a phone, tablet, or laptop. Some materials are also available for download, so you can review a PDF or document even when you don’t have reliable internet, which matters if you’re studying in the field or between calls on shift.
Your training data stays secure. The platform runs on a secure connection, which matters if you’re logging in from a work device.

Your instructors, your course content, and your certification path did not change. This update affected how courses are delivered, not what you’re being trained on. The material you’re working through and how it’s structured remain the same.
What the Rebuild Involved
Every course on FireWise Academy had to be taken apart and rebuilt from the ground up to work on the new platform, which meant touching almost everything you see and hear in a lesson. Here’s what that actually involved:
- 166 legacy PowerPoint decks, totalling 7,371 slides, rebuilt for the new format
- 165 lesson videos re-produced and re-embedded
- 102 hours and 18 minutes of finished, narrated video content (for comparison, that’s the extended edition Lord of the Rings trilogy watched nine times in a row!)
- Roughly 6,800 individually designed and animated video compositions
- 5,489 new on-brand images, more than 10,000 vector graphics, and 170 demo videos sourced and embedded across courses
This work is why lessons load correctly, and the layout stays consistent across devices.
