Paul LeSage has over 30 years' experience as a fire fighter, paramedic, flight paramedic, command officer and educator. He has degrees in Organizational Communications and Sciences and is on the faculty at Oregon Health Sciences University as a Clinical Assistant Professor. Paul has also authored several Fire and EMS Field Guides, along with articles and book chapters related to deployment and decision making. He applies non-traditional techniques to public and private sector organizations who want quality improvement. Paul was a hit as a keynote presenter at the Western Canada Emergency Services Leadership Conference last year.
Paul's new program, "The Five Skills Needed to Build the Right Organizational Culture", covers the key ingredients for success when building an organizational culture that manages risk in high-consequence domains like the fire service and EMS:
